Vitamins, minerals and trace elements are essential for a wide range of processes in the human body. Each vitamin and mineral has its own specific functions, for example in supporting the immune system, regulating growth and tissue repair, or supporting the body's energy supply. This ensures that a correct intake of vitamins and minerals is crucial for (top) athletes.

Although multivitamins do not need to be taken preventatively, there are certain situations in which it may be advisable for an athlete to supplement their basic diet with a multivitamin. Examples include periods with a reduced intake of basic food (for example during periods of weight loss), a long-term monotonous diet or periods spent abroad where the food supply is inadequate.

It is important to note that the AMACX Sport Multi, unlike many other multivitamins, does not contain high doses. After all, when it comes to vitamins, more is not always better: intakes above the RDA are useless and too high an intake of certain vitamins can be harmful. For example, high concentrations of vitamin C, E and zinc have a strong antioxidant effect, which can reduce training adaptations. High concentrations of certain B vitamins can also lead to serious health problems.
